They both spoke passionately about their positions but they are nearly opposites in their attitude. Malcolm X appears to be very spiteful and aggressive towards the white population while being assertive and confident with his allegations. He purposefully uses this tone so that he passes on his animosity of the country to his followers and anyone other African-Americans listening. He often indicates how the western world will soon be destroyed by God in due time because of their sins. Martin Luther King conversely, is much more optimistic about the future of the United States and spoke with assurance so that his followers will
