As the first official document the Articles of Confederation was a way to acknowledge America’s importance. The constitution was a way to help America recognize its government and laws, and help with the rights of the citizens. There are a couple of comparisons between the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution. Just like the Constitution, the Articles of Confederation was a very important document in History.
For one thing, when comparing the Articles of Confederation it’s important to know all the states receive the power. Meaning the Articles is Unicameral where each state represents one vote only. The constitution is different the power is separated between the states three branches of governments which are the legislative, executive, and judicial. The constitution is Bicameral which basically means that the legislature has two chambers instead of just one. In Congress there is the House of Representatives and the Senate. The number of Representatives from each state are determined by population. Every state gets two Senators. The more populated states have more power and the smaller less populated states can apply their decisions on the Senate.
