The Salem Witch Trials is a historical event where people were being accused of being witches and doing witchcraft. The Holocaust was about jewish people being accused for ruining the world so they got punished. Today I will be comparing the two with similarities. The holocaust was about the jewish people getting accused of ruining the world, according to Hitler. The jewish people were treated unfairly because of something they didn’t do. At first hitler just moved them to the ghettos,but then hitler took it to far. Also hitler put the yellow star of David on jews to know who was a jew and who wasn’t. He also made the nazis put a j on their ID’s to also know if their jewish. After a couple years he tricked them into going to concentration camps as he said they were going to be relocated to new homes. After Hitler sent a whole bunch of jews to concentration camps, he put together the “Final Plan” to exterminate all of the jews and killed about ⅔ of the jewish population. After that tragic event the world has never been the same.

One of the similarities are both groups of people in each event were blamed for doing nothing. Another reason why they are similar is they are both major points in history and there are still things going on like them today. One more reason they are similar is people got killed in each event, but the people didn’t deserve it. Another similarity between them was mass hysteria because on both sides people were crazy. Also another important reason is that people did not like you if you were a jew or accused of being a witch. Finally the most important reason is that they are both big parts of history that should have never even been made.(History.com
