Scientist divided the Stone age into two parts, the Paleolithic and Neolithic age. The Paleolithic age was 2.5 million years ago and lasted until 10,000 bce. The other half is the Neolithic age, that began from 10,000 bce about around 3,000 bce. The Paleolithic and Neolithic age is prehistoric human past.
