One similarity between the People’s Party and the Progressives were similar because the where political movements to make a United States more fair towards the citizens that where not major industrial capitalists. Both of these groups formed when the lower and middle class decided to forget their differences and band together to change the political landscape. The People’s progressive party fought against the political partnerships between government representatives and industrial capitalist and Monopolies like JP Morgan.
