Sex and Alcohol How can one use alcohol and turn it into intriguing sex that attracts the entire adult male population? From nerdy to classy, rich to poor. SKYY vodka uses their artistic skills to make even the questionably curious man feel as though they no longer need to question. As the use of alcohol becomes more acceptable and common, the promotion becomes more appealing and seductive. The SKYY Vodka Company use eye catching scenery to attract men by creating an ad that subjects women as objects. SKYY Vodka uses women to their advantage to attract men, making them believe that if they drink this vodka, they’ll be and feel like more of a man. The ad features two women, one African American and the other white wearing red lipstick. Both women are cradling a cherry on their lips to represent the drink flavor, SKYY Infusions, cherry. The women are used to depict the idea that if one were to drink this vodka, any and every type of woman would be attracted to them. Red, the general background of the ad was cleverly used as the color is mostly associated with physical needs and will to survive. Red is energizing and excites emotions and motivates us to take action. The color represents a strong-will and can give confidence to those who are shy. Red is also the color of sexuality which is clearly shown as the main idea of the ad, to attract men through sensuality along with making them feel strong, more powerful and more attractive to women. The color of the bottle, blue, symbolizes trust, confidence, loyalty, intelligence and is considered beneficial to the mind and body. The creators of the ad want men to trust their company and trust that they will feel confident in themselves after consumption and most importantly remain loyal to drinking SKYY
