It was a bright, sunny day in Goffsville. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, but it was just another normal day for Skylar Miller. She was in her college dormitory room studying for an upcoming test. She almost never had time for studying anymore since she became Typhoon ten years ago and had to fight against her dad, Dr. Flame, who had abandoned Skylar and her mom when she was six. She had faint memories of her dad, but her worst memory was the day her dad left. She had dreams about it every night. She woke up covered in sweat, panting. She used all her energy and was able to create a wave that put the fire out. After that, Skylar used another wave to carry her up to the top of the hotel where her dad was waiting for her. Skylar created a wave of water that hit her dad and sent him falling over the building until he was on the very edge of the hotel and her dad was holding on with just the tips of his fingers. Skylar’s dad started to speak but she interrupted him. “Dad, this is the last time I will fight you. This time I will not let you get away! I have to take you to jail! Everyone expects me to fight you because they don’t know that you’re my dad. I don’t want to fight you but I have to! If I don’t you might burn the whole city down and I can’t let you do
