Do you feel like like slavery is a good thing to have? Should the people that are slaves be treated as a nobody? I want the reader to step into the slaves shoes so they could know how they feel of being treated differently.The stories (and/or poem) of Henry’s freedom box,Harriet Jacobs, and mother to son throw light on the american slave system through sharing the personal accounts they endured and those experiences formed their position on slavery.
The aspects of slavery that these stories bring to the light is freedom.”Henry’s heart beat fast.Maybe the master would set him free”.Henry has hope that his master will set him free because his master is sick.His master is sick and he hope that he is going to have freedom.It shows many people that slavery is the wrong thing to do.It tells me that slavery should not exist.Slavery should be banned because it’s not the right thing to do.
