Most people know sloths for being slow and boring creates. They seem to just lay around and eat all day everyday. Nothing exciting happens to them maybe for their entire lives. Capote described the town of Holcomb, Kansas as a sloth. In Truman Capote’s novel In Cold Blood, he talks about a town where nothing happens and everything consists of a dull feeling.
Truman describes his base town with explicit detail using imagery. He talks about the bank being shut down for quite some time now and how there used to be a building with an electric “Dance” sign but the sign no longer works. All these building are on an old dirt road which makes the entire town sound rundown, but they maintain their school well using the people's hidden from the eye
