“To Kill a Mockingbird”

During the 1960’s America faced many racial issues as well as the lack of effort to get equal rights for all Americans, including people of all color. Many colored americans had do deal with the unfair and unjust laws that had been enforced in the “land of the free and home of the brave”. Harper Lee’s novel “To Kill a Mockingbird” is set in the 1930’s and shows the unfairness that many colored americans had to go threw. In the novel To Kill a Mockingbird Harper Lee used many different symbols to show the lost of innocents threw out the novel such as, the snow, the fire, and the mockingbird.
The first symbol in the novel is the snow, the snow showed in many ways the loss of innocents and new change that would affect
