In just about every Disney movie there is a beautiful princess that every young girl aspires to be. Snow White and Cinderella live different lives but share a similar situation, they both have older women in their lives who want nothing more than to make them miserable. Cinderella has an evil step mother who makes her dress in rags and keep up with the house. The queen in Snow White is so vain she wants Snow White dead just because her mirror tells her that Snow White is the fairest in all the land. If you're not satisfied with what you look like or who you are as a person, you will end up living a very miserable life. In Grimms version of Snow white, Snow white is beautiful and described as "white as snow, and as red as blood and her hair was as black as ebony". In order for the queen to become the "fairest one of all", she decides to go to extreme measures to get rid of Snow White. She tells a huntsman "take the child away into the forest; I will no longer have her in my sight. Kill her, and bring me back her heart as a token." The only difference between Snow White and Cinderella is that the Queen in Snow White wants her dead, where as the step mother in Cinderella just wants to make her life miserable.
