The purpose of my paper is to see how Snowy owls and Barn owls are alike and how they are different. I hope to learn about how these owls can twist their heads all the way around. I think we will learn a lot of things about these owls.
Snowy Owls can be found in the tundra all around the Arctic Circle during breeding season in May. If temperatures are as low as -80 F the owls may stay on the breeding land for the rest of the year in North America. Others migrate as far south as the northern half or the lower 48 states. In the northeast, snowy owls are regular visitors to New England and New York.
