• There is a relationship between favoring or opposing the requirement of gun permits and gender.
• Generally, women seem to favor the requirement of gun permits than men.
• Seventy one percent of men as opposed to eighty one percent of women agree that they favor the requirement of gun permits.
• This is was I had expected that women would favor the requirement of gun permits but most people believe that more men would favor the requirement of gun permits.
• There is a small negative relationship between being male and favoring requirement of having gun permits.
• The significance is 0.3%. There is a 0.3% chance of being wrong if I state that the relationship found in the sample is true for the whole United States population.
• My findings cannot be generalized for the whole population.
• Chi-square’s assumption of expected count being 5 or more was fulfilled therefore I can trust these results.
