The movie Patch Adams identifies and demonstrates examples of health issues in the community. Justice was served socially in this movie and health policies were pursued. The Social View of Health recognises the interrelationship of a number of factors that influence an individual's or community’s health. Each individual society and/or community has their own different types of rules and expectations that they find socially acceptable. Sometimes these will be followed as laws and/or policies or just general respect to the public. ‘Patch Adams’ had certain moments in the movie where Patch was being socially unacceptable. All of these things advocate health which helps pursue health. The movie also enables health by trying to go through with equality. This was developed by Patch discovering new methods of medicine and working on them. The house that Patch did not discriminate on whether you were black, white, smart, dumb, rich or poor. He also made everyone feel supported and feel like they had a firm foundation staying there. In return for staying there he asked that the patients try to look after each other and bond and care for someone who
