The qualities and characteristics of Social Justice Warriors may more often than not seem ignorant to those who do not agree with their view. Not necessarily due to a lack of tolerance from others, but because as Rod Dreher said, “It really is true: you cannot pleaser the SJWs. They will keep moving to goalposts to keep their anger stoked. And the more elite your profession is, the greater is the likelihood that it will be made subject SJW-style moral blackmail”. In other words, they will continue to press their ideals on others, but will show little to no tolerance towards those who differ from them, and will counter those by using stereotypes that revolve around privilege as slander to exemplify “social inequality”. It seems that there are many situations in which the leftist is unable to produce a source or reasoning for the data they put forth. For example, a common statistic used by social justice warriors to promote themselves as being oppressed includes the gender pay gap which is put out by the White House Equal Pay website. Yes, the White House’s official website is a reliable source, but the problem is how the SJWs alter the data to change the means by which it is to be interpreted. The White House's website states that, “On average, full time working women just earn 78 cents on the dollar a man earns.”, which is likely accurate information unless the illuminati is running the website. What social progress advocates do is manipulate the data by leaving parts of it out(Agness, 2016). For example, the American Association of University Women asked the question, “Did you know that in 2014, Women working full time in the United States were typically paid 79 percent of what men were paid, a gap of 21 percent?” This statement clearly alters the statistic making it more suitable for the sole cause of inciting anger, and picturing women as modern victims of oppression It is evident why and how this can be problematic for society, but how can we prevent altered facts such as this from invading our minds?
