Through out the years communication has become easier than ever from email to social media. Many people rely on social networks to keep in contact with friends and family. One of the most popular networks is Facebook. It gives people an opportunity to reconnect with others and post updates or add photos so that people could know what is going on. There are a lot of benefits in using Facebook its one of the most used social networks. People could send messages you have the choice to send the message as an open manner or to send it privately. There are privacy settings on Facebook that can make it so only your friends can see your wall posts, or some of your information. It can also be made so non-friends can only see your profile picture. Being able to see what your friends and family are doing, and they know what you are up to. Facebook also reminds you about important events and friends' birthdays.
Social networking sites begin with a group of founders sending out messages to friends to join the network. In turn the friends send out messages to their friends, and the network grows. When members join the network, they create a profile. Depending on the site, users can customize their profile to reflect their interests. They also begin to have contact with friends, acquaintances, and strangers.
No doubt Facebook and Twitter are most powerful social media and social networking site. They can use them to connect with your family, friends, work colleague and to meet new people. Specially, this is the best way to find their school, college or any other old profile. Most of the people, who know how to use computer and internet, have a profile on Facebook. Moreover, it is easy to find like-minded people by seeing their interest and they can easily connect with them using wall updates, private message, poke or text and video chat. Facebook can also be use as video chat tool. Recently Facebook implemented Facebook video chat feature in partnership with Skype and now they can make video call to their friends
