The video Tribal Wives of Yoruk was a very informative film. The movie displayed a lot of values, social norms and roles that clashed for Charlie and the Yoruk family. One of the first norms displayed was apparel. Charlie's street clothes, shorts and a top, were not acceptable as a social norm for the Yoruk family. The women in their family wears long pants and cover their hair. Her daily life also clashed with that of the Yoruk family. The Yoruk's milk their goats and during the entire process Charlie complained. She claimed that she simply goes to the store to buy milk.
