Society is becoming blind. A society becomes blind by not knowing about the world around them. There are many examples of a society becoming blind. Such as the North Korea documentary and Anthem. In Anthem, a book by Ann Rand, the people were taught to always be with someone. In North Korea they are taught to hate the U.S. The people in Anthem and North Korea don’t know any better because of how they were taught. A society becomes blind by not knowing everything about the world and not knowing all the attributes of life, so that the society does not get knowledge they are not supposed to have.
Also, a society being controlled to believe something without knowing. An example is North Korea people in North Korea are raised to believe and think that the united states of America is evil. If someone is raised to believe something how will they know it is wrong, they won't. Another example is anthem. In anthem they are raised, forced and taught to always be with someone. The people in anthem do not know the word "I" and they can't like someone more than someone else. These two examples are important because they show that if someone or something is raised to believe something they won't know another way to live. Which goes back to how people are being controlled to believe something.

When a society is blind they will have problems. An example is anthem, the society in anthem was blind because they did not know they had problems with not knowing themselves. The society had many problems, the people were finding out things that the council was hiding from the people. Another example is North Korea the society in North Korea is corrupt and North Korea's leader is hiding things from the people.
