In the United States, public schools are partly funded through taxes collected from local communities. Public schools provide students with equal opportunities for educational success, regardless of the socioeconomic status of their communities, but this contrasts with actual practices and No Child Left Behind. For example, wealthy communities generate more funds than impoverished communities, and this leads to disparities in education. Thus, differences in education are more apparent within the states’ schools, school districts, and among schools within special zones, e.g., zones of significant socioeconomic disparities (Greenwald & Laine, 1996). However, state endeavors to be more equitable to distribute education funds to school districts
