As someone once said “It never gets easier, you just get better.”This is relevant to struggling to become better at softball because the sport never gets easier it is always going to be hard. The harder a person works at something and not give up, the better they become and the closer they will get to achieve your goal. First,this is my first year playing softball in my life and it has taken a lot of hard work and dedication to get to where I am now and it has not been easy. Next, all the girls on the team have been playing since they were kids and have had tons of practice so it’s hard to catch up to their level of skill. Finally, even with the pain and setbacks that come with playing softball it is all worth it because the sport is a blast to play. And I love playing the game and winning with my amazing team. I just started playing softball this year even though i have never done anything like it before. When I started playing I didn’t know what I was doing and I struggled a lot to get the hang of things. Once i got hit really hard with a ball and it left a big bruise like I got hit by a boulder on my leg so I had a mental block and was scared of the ball for a while. I haven’t done very good with batting and I put myself down a lot when I strike out but my team always knows how to cheer me up. My team is my family and without them I wouldn’t be playing softball today, even though we may disagree on some things a lot. But from all the tiring practices and games I feel like my head is a time bomb ready to explode from the stress.
