College has always been the one place that I have considered as a home to personal and intellectual growth. Throughout my adolescence, my life has been dedicated to my family; whether it be acting as a caregiver to my grandma in special needs or assisting my family in annual expenses, I have made sacrifices and endured more hardships than the average high school student should. I have always known college as an escape: a place where I can grow as not only a student, but as a person capable of extraordinary feats.
