Solve a Problem Paper Since the beginning of time humans has been faced with problems and challenges in their everyday life. How to transport material easier from one place to another? With this problem the creation of the wheel was invented, although not like the wheel we are used to today, the wheel made moving one thing to another location a lot easier than it had been before. There was a process used to address this problem because however thought of such a great idea had to have used a process. This process today is referred to as the creative process. The creative process has four stages: search for challenges, expressing the problem or issue, investigating the problem or issue and producing an idea. The 1st process is to search for a challenge. Ruggiero states that meeting a challenge in an imaginative, original, and effective way is the essence of creativity.(2009) The challenges you address does not have to be a problem or an issue, it could easily be an opportunity to improve an existing condition. The 2nd process is expression the problem or issue. Although a problem or an issue seems to be the same thing, the order in which we express them are totally different. ”A problem is a situation that we regard as unacceptable; an issue is a matter about which intelligent, informed people disagree to some extent” (Ruggiero, 2009).
