Something’s in life are gold. But that doesn’t mean that they have to stay. In the book The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton is a book about two groups in a high school. The Greasers and the Socs. This story connects to the poem written by Robert Frost Nothing Gold Can Stay. This connects to The Outsiders and real life because Johnny is something gold in the story to me and he does end up passing away. This explains perfectly that nothing gold can stay in the real world and in the book.
