SOUNDTRACK TO MY LIFE
1. Ball and Chain by Sublime
This is an easy listening song. Its genre is called Sca (a mix of Reggae and Rock). It doesn’t get me excited for the day, because who is excited for school right? It mostly prepares me for the day.
“I step into a great unknown….a ball and chain I call my own.”
“The girl you knew and the bonds we grew all turn into a ball and chain.”
2. Friends by Led Zeppelin
This is my all time favorite band. To me they are the best musicians alive. Ask anybody who knows anything about RocknRoll and they will tell that they are most talented rock group ever. I listen to this song before school because it talks about the importance of friendship. It explains that everybody could use a friend. It is another easy listening song but with driving pulse.

3. Rock and Roll by Led Zeppelin
This is a really fast paced loud song. When I get to lunch, all I want to do is go home or hang out with friends but the day seems like it goes on forever.
“Its been a long time since I rock and rolled,
Its been a long time since I did the stroll.”

Carry me back, baby, where I come from.
Its been a long time, been a long time.”

4. Wearing and Tearing by Led Zeppelin
When that last bell rings, I am out the door before it stops ringing. The music in this song pumps you up for the weekend and it is like a burst of energy every time I listen to it.

Then it grows like thunder
Until it bursts inside of you
Try to hold it steady
Wait until you're ready
Any second now will do
Throw the door wide open
Not a word is spoken
Anything that you want to do.”
