South West Healthcare
South West Healthcare’s (SWH) vision is to provide outstanding healthcare in partnership with its regional community with a mission to provide a comprehensive range of high quality health and wellbeing services for people in South West Victoria. SWH serves a community of 110,000 people and employs 1351 across the 149 services it provides. SWH consists of 2 public hospitals, a mental health services division, an aged care facility and 5 community health centres. SWH’s local economy benefits to the tune of approximately $103 million per year. In 2015-16 SWH had 18,526 inpatients and 26,732 Emergency Department patients/presentations. SWH achieved an operating surplus of $598,000 during 2015-16

2. Driving a quality and safety culture: Financially supporting the develop of contemporary, robust and evidence based models of care across all services with a focus on risk management improvement

4. Developing a high performing workforce: Financially supporting professional development opportunities aimed at improving service delivery and health outcomes
