I have spoken Spanish since I was 5 years old, having grown up going to a Spanish immersion school. From kindergarten through sixth grade, all of my classes were taught entirely in Spanish.Throughout middle school and high school, I continued to study rigorous Spanish courses and I have known for several years that I want to use my Spanish in conjunction with my career. I am so blessed to have had the chance to speak Spanish from such a young age and I am hoping that an extended cultural immersion will help me improve my speaking and overall knowledge of the language.
