You see 3 grand pyramids towering in the sky, the largest 481 feet. You could also the great Sphinx. However, something is wrong, the landmarks are eroding away and getting weakened by pollution. Suddenly the Sphinx collapses! Can this really happen or is this imagined? Believe it or not, this is can actually happen. If we stop pollution this will not happen. Also, we should stop interfering with nature (ex. building dams.)

Pollution is one of the causes for the sphinx eroding. According to Wikipedia, it states “Air and water pollution in Cairo have a destructive effect on the many monuments in the city...Without regular cleaning, historic buildings made of limestone, because of their high porosity, will continue to decay...” The Sphinx is made of limestone, So it will erode slowly.
