Spring Lake Cemetery is located approximately 4 miles outside of the current location of Spring Lake, Lamb County, Texas. It does not have a specific address however according to www.cemeteries-of-Texas.com it is located on a "county road" outside of town. The cemetery is located where the original town of Spring Lake was located. The Town was relocated to it current location in 1935. The Spring Lake Cemetery is marked by a Texas Historical Marker, which according to www.atlas.thc.state.tx.us reads,
This burial ground served the original residents of Springdale Community. The area was opened for settlement in 1908 by the George C. Wright Land Company. It was named for the nearby Springlake Ranch. D. B. Shipley donated the first two acres for the cemetery. The first burial took place in 1909. Of the 356 known graves, five are unmarked. The community of Springlake was relocated in 1935, 4.75 miles southeast. The town once had a hotel, supply store, school and post office, but only the cemetery remains at the original site. (1980)

The entrance is marked by a gate and the front perimeter (facing the road) is marked by small trees or hedges. The cemetery looks to be somewhat well kept, so that the boundary and grave markers are visible. The cemetery is not located close to town or any urban area, it looks to be located on a plot of surrounded by crop land. The cemetery is square in shape and had two small roads that extend from each side and intersect in the center. Marking these roads are trees on each side are small trees. The ground is covered by mostly grass that looks to be cut to keep it neat and the grave markers visible. There are no visible retaining or terracing walls. The cemetery is well organized and seems to be laid out formally, however according to www.cemeteries-of-Texas.com there at least five unmarked graves located within the
