Three key policy areas which will require legislative reform to ensure effective promotion and efficient regulation of renewable energy resources in St Critts’ electricity sector are:
(i) The requirement of utilities to use or increase the utilization of renewable energy sources in the electricity sector supported by specific instruments and incentives, including net-metering / net-billing; feed-in tariffs; quota obligations; tax and duty exemption; and standards and rules for grid connection. This will allow legislation that facilitates St Critts energy security prospects, if more utilities use renewable energy resources its use must pe properly regulated in order to commercialise and regularise the sale and consumption using renewable energy
