St. John Rivers is definitely a representation of a villain archetype character. Initially, Rivers employs the sensation that he is a pure and well-meaning soul. In fact, he is the person who finds Jane Eyre seeking shelter and guides her into his home. As a matter of fact, the kindness doesn’t stop there, it further escalates through his kind gesture of offering her a noble job.
