On October in 2015, Stan Grant gave a persuasive speech about the Australian dream and how the racism is ruining the image of equality for not only ethnic minorities, but for everyone living within out boarders. The reason for Stan Grant to present this speech was because of recent racial tensions and all the people who booed Adam Goodes and called him rude statements on account of his race. In Stan Grants speech, it is clear that he has used many persuasive techniques such as repetition, exclusive language and pace to ignite a sense of sadness and guilt for the Aboriginal people and to encourage that we can do better than our racist past and close the barrier between White Settlers and Native Aboriginals.
