Star Wars The Evolution of Toys Star Wars has been around since May 25, 1977 and since the beginning has been a very big sensation. When disney was producing the movies, the franchise just kept getting bigger and bigger. The toys were being sold out on the shelves, and held back on selling certain Star War toys. I agree with their decision to hold back some of their toys because they could have spoiled the whole movie. CEO Jim Silver, said he didn’t expect Rey's, a popular Star Wars toys, to sell out.
