Growing up, my father always asserted grades were equally important as discovering one’s identity. To this day, I evenly distribute my time between education and the exploration of this world, identifying my dreams and personality as well as my academic pursuits toward independence. This balance between, the same balance I determined in Loyola Marymount University, is a crucial factor driving an individual’s growth and modeling their approaching future. I find it impressive that UP’s Campus Ministry instructs its scholars not only in the academic arts but also in the significance of one’s conscience and spirit. LMU’s Jesuit mission captivates me because morality serves as an essential part of an ethical life – my life – and those of whom I touch in my time. Furthermore, a pure conscience, I firmly support, permits the generation’s upcoming leaders a moral basis when acting for the many. Consequently, by spreading LMU’s principled teachings through its scholars, humanity may take a virtuous step in the noble direction. …show more content…
This, I declare, will permit complete and thorough interaction with my peers and truly unearth the person behind each student in comparison to institution sizes five times the size of LMU’s. To add, LMU beholds smaller class proportions that spur personal relation between professor and student, allowing for individualized help based on each pupil. The professors at LMU are recognized as compassionate people who care for each of their students’ learning experience, academics and well-being. These educators, too, are acknowledged for remaining constantly available, whether through e-mail or their welcoming office
