Stephen King Argument Essay The Purge, Insidious sequel, Dracula, and many more are all horror movies that scare humans and that triggers a feeling called fear. Horror movies like these are what humans are asking for. Human condition is mainly why people want to watch these unpleasant, disgusting, horrific movies. Once a human watches a horror movie, it’s easier for them to release their feelings because of all the screams and terror that the movie provides for them. Releasing feelings is healthy because keeping all that bottled up emotions such as anxiety, heartbreaks, and the feeling of lost, does no good for your health because they will lose thier appetite and motivation to keep moving forward. Horror movies are what humans need for excitement, anger, fear, and sadness. In Stephen King’s book, “Of Mice and Men” he argues that horror movies is good for a human. To begin with, every emotion a person feels is both good and bad, an example is fear. Fear is beneficial because once you feel that way, your heart will start to pump and the blood will run. Most people volunteer to watch horror movies so yes it may scare them for a while and give them nightmares but that was their choice, they could’ve said no but they went through with it. There’s solutions to nightmares and fear, so is watching a horror movie worth it? Spending a couple dollars to get some excitement. The money shouldn’t even be a problem because people spend money on useless supplies all the time.
