Final essay Analysis
Out of all 7 videos I watched today I think that I have been affected by each one. These topics are so powerfully presented and delivered that I actually started watching other videos on how to change the world. Each speech had its own specific way that is was delivered and I think the delivery of these messages are what really spark interest and motivate the audience to take action. First off, I had a few primary concerns about each video and that is how I am supposed to react. For example, the Amazon Prime for women is very entertaining and fun to watch because it is sarcastically hilarious which keeps the viewers watching. Short and effective videos like this get the message across without boring the audience to death which in my perspective is very well thought out. In the performance “Changing the world, one word at a time” is also very effective in delivery because these young girls display a tone of distress and anger that really gets the people listening. The way the speak really brings out the severity of the topic and the fact that many people can relate and say of yeah that’s so true makes this message strong and helps carry a personal feel to the topic. Yellow Rage’s “listen Asshole” is a very effective way to burn out people who stereotype and although it is kind of scary, it is very strong in a sense of being prideful about your culture. Chris Hayes is my favorite because he uses the media as he microphone and although he is white, he acknowledges the faults in white culture along with how the media masks over it. Messages of truth like this really speak to the people. The “One girl among many” speech is effective because the video relates it to women all over the world to show it’s a global issue that needs to be dealt
