Stereotyping comes from being prejudice; which comes from the word pre-judge. We pre-judge when we have an opinion about a person because of a group to which that individual belongs, thus stereotyping was born. The attributes of stereotyping vary between individuals of a certain group that have proponents or types of words being thrown at them because of a rational belief of the people judging them. The causes of stereotyping is The Scottsboro boys case, Blue v.s. Black and OJ simpson case. The effect of these cases are it invokes violence nine young men were sentenced to death for a crime they did not commit and only one of those boys survived after spending most of his life in prison.
