Bigger, Stronger, Faster was the documentary presented to the audience. The documentary is about the different views on steroids based mainly on three brothers named Christopher, Mike, and Mark. The three brothers were raised in a caring loving family, yet seem to disagree on whether the usage of steroids are acceptable. Throughout the documentary different opinions were thrown around by a variable of well known people, such as Dr. Gray, Stan Lee, Henry Waxman, Gregg Valentino, Dr. Wade, along side with concerned parents and coaches on why steroids are acceptable or not. He was a senior and also the Varsity Football Quarterback. I met him and quickly build a good friendship, I would attend to most of Friday night games. Orlando received full scholarship to universities, yet they were all cancelled when the universities exposed the use of steroids. I recall walking in to my last course when I was noticed about Orlando’s situation, I nearly froze to death. Orlando was a great person, he wouldn’t cheat his way out of working up the ladder, I thought to myself but was so wrong. I felt heartbroken at first, but eventually realized he was not the only one; I knew other football players from different school that took steroids and were still rewarded with their scholarships. At this point I just thought it was unfair and childish, these coaches knew many of their own college football player more than likely were on steroids. After this situation, I realized that many athletics were on steroids, but still trained hard and gave their hearts out on the field. Around this time many athletes from all over the districts were found taking steroids, yet no one really did anything. Many of the information people were sharing to society about how steroids can cause death demonstrate how our society is ignorance on the topic. The information provided on the documentary is not only available to the public, but this information can be easily acquired by simple internet research. In my opinion, the information being shared by almost all Americans should be minimized. I believe that the people confirming or even sharing the information should be kept within medicals and scientist. The government has play a huge role on what steroids are and what they do, they have the right, but my opinion is that they should be backed up the research and not just their own knowledge and beliefs. Due to my opinion on steroids, I believe the that only facts should be shared and not thoughts The reason for this is because many information being shared makes steroids look worse then drugs and tobacco, when in reality it doesn’t not surpasses the amounts of deaths due to drugs and tobacco, but help people achieve their goals and
