(Hajar) While shampoo, sunscreen, and makeup are important in our everyday lives, should animals be put to death to create those products? . While animal testing can help with medical research, it should be stopped because there are cruelty free products available in stores, there are other options that are more effective, and animal testing is cruel to animals. Synthetic skin can be created to determine if a chemical is safe for human use within three minutes to four hours. Testing on animals with chemicals can take up to five years, synthetic skin is a much faster option. Using synthetic skin is a fraction of the cost of animal testing.
