Strategies To Achieve My Goals

At the beginning of the year, I set myself three goals. These goals were to wake up earlier (more specifically at 7:30am), to improve my grades in my report and exam and to improve my piano playing.
Explain the strategies you developed to achieve these goals?
To wake up early – more specifically at 7:30am, I worked out a strategy to complete all important activities first such as homework, showering, eating, etc. as soon as I get home from school so there’s time left to do other things or so I don’t go overtime and do the important work all late at night – which is something I seem to do. This would allow me to go to sleep early so I can wake up early too. I would also get my mum to wake me up just in case my alarm doesn’t work or I don’t wake up early enough.
To improve my grades, I changed my studying habits because previously they were bad. Though my grades were fine for subjects such as history, music and drama, I needed to improve the grades I got for the main subjects, which Science, English and Maths. To do this, I got a tutor for Maths and for Science, I just studied a bit more and did questions from the textbook that were relevant to what I was learning. I

Literacy is needed since it involves composing a range of texts, whether it is written, oral or visual, something all my subjects require, as well as understanding, writing and analysing different text types. It will help me develop skills that’ll help me to aim higher and improve my grades – knowing these skills. The literacy capability helps by developing skills in asking questions and expressing and considering opinions, something needed if you want to know how to improve grades. The numeracy capability is especially needed in Maths and also music, where we need to know tempo and beat. These capabilities have contributed to helping me achieve my
