Strawson's argument is vulnerable to the following objection by the libertarians. The libertarians argue that determinism is false because one is free and morally responsible agents. They believe free will is indeterministic and that one has free will. According to them one is truly morally responsible for what one does because one has free will and because the ultimate decision is made by one. Although one's CPM is supposedly fixed, one's decision is not fixed. Ultimately one has two options either/or and one is truly morally responsible towards their actions that they chose from the options determined by their CPM. One is able to do so because one has free will.
Strawson replied to the libertarians' objection by saying that, indeterminacy
