Suffering In Eliezer Wiesel's 'Night'

Somee people say that it’s better to die alive than to live dead. In “Night” Eliezer didn’t chose to go with his mother. Instead, he stayed with his father. For Eliezer’s father, the presence of his son is not a relief for him; it’s additional suffering for him because he will have to experience pain with his son.
