Groups of ten or more can be purchase discounted tickets at a price of $30, and it is estimated that 20% of the audience will buy a group ticket. Next, it is estimated that 10% of tickets will be sold to students at a cost of $15 per ticket. Lastly, the Cutler Majestic Theatre offers subscription packages, and it is estimated that 20% of our audience will have purchased this package. The revenue we will receive from the packages is $20 per person. Therefore, based on the percentage capacity, the total number of seats in the theater, and the percentage breakdown of who purchases which type of ticket, the total revenue from ticket sales per show is $31,007.97. Assuming the production is performed eight times a week, the total revenue from ticket sales per week is $248,063.76. As a touring group, we chose Boston as our next stop because of its long history of very strong theater performances, and wide variety of college campus. In addition to this, the state of Massachusetts is one of the most LGBTQ friendly states in the country. In 2004, following the decision in Goodridge v. Department of Public Health, Massachusetts became the first U.S. state to grant marriage licenses to same-sex couples. In terms of HIV/AIDS, the state has HIV testing law that protects against coerced and/or uninformed testing, laws that protect privacy of HIV status, laws that ban discrimination based on HIV status, and does not criminalize the transmission of HIV. This is important because one of the major themes in Angels in America is the HIV/AIDS epidemic. If a playgoer is going to support this production, it is important that the place the play is being performed in is very accepting of the delicate subject
