“Scratch Beginnings” is the story of recent college graduate Adam Shepard, and his journey to prove “Nickel and Dimed” wrong; you don’t need much to make it in America, you just have to work hard. For his experiment, Shepard relocated to a city he has no knowledge of and tried to work his way out of homelessness with only $25 and a sleeping bag. He could not use his education or prior business contacts to acquire a job.
