Summary Of Choices By Susan Kerslake

As I was reading the short story, “Choices,” written by Susan Kerslake, I was thinking Peggy and I have similar experience. In the story, Peggy makes a choice to go camping with her boyfriend, Ken. She is in Ken’s blue car and they suddenly get into an accident. First Peggy doesn’t realize what was going on and she slowly feels the pain. She feels helpless since she couldn’t do anything in wedged car. At the end, she is rescued and safely brought out.
The choice, I have made, similar to Peggy’s was that when I was 7 years old I made a choice to hang out with friends near the pond during the kindergarten’s picnic. We were competing who throws the leaves farther. So, in my turn I put all my force and was on my tip toes at the edge of the bank.
