With improved technology over the years, the idea of a perfect body is easily placed into the minds of every women in the world. We see models on tv, in fashion shows, and in magazines. With this increased promotion, eating disorders have become more prevalent in many areas. In Girl Interrupted, an important subject discussed, but is under-discussed, would be eating disorders.
Throughout the book, the reader sees characters come and go, but a few have food related disorders. One character that this affects is named Daisy. She is described as seasonal and
