The science journalist, Ed Yong in his article, “Of Primates and Personhood”, implies that there is huge split between those who are for the law of primates having legal rights and those who are against it. He supports this claim by comparing the two sides and providing raw evidence for both, then he illustrates that those for the law have created programs like GAP to help save primates from experiments or harm. Those against see this law as unreasonable. He finally ends with a given solution to teach all children to respect all animals.
