Denial and isolation is the first reaction we will have when we are facing grief and loss this is when you don’t want to believe what is happening to you. This reaction is perfectly normal to have as it protects us from the initial shock, this is only a temporary reaction.
We then feel anger as the pain of the situation will come up again, we often display anger towards the situation or the person we have lost. Even though we know the person is not to be blamed for leaving us, this makes us feel guilty for being angry and makes us angrier.
