Personal Summary Welcome to my personal summary, the following information will be solely about Taylor Francese Farrow. I was born and raised in Brooklawn, New Jersey. I have an older brother, an older sister and a younger sister. My life has been centered around my family and they will always come first in my life. I have always wanted a career that would allow me to provide for my family. They have always been there for me and I want to be there for them.

I am currently a sophomore here at Coastal Carolina University. The average salary for a medical lawyer starts at $150,881 a year and can be even more if the job is located inside the hospital. If the job is at a hospital, the lawyer’s job tasks tend to differ. This type of lawyer is there to defend the doctor instead of the patient (Medical 2015). Also this type of lawyer would be responsible for deciding patient settlements and even going before a court to prove why the doctor is not liable for an incident. Medical lawyers typically deal with claims about strict liability and negligence. Strict liability is a form of civil liability that leaves someone liable for any harm resulting from certain activities without any fault because the activity falls in this classification (Medical 2015). Negligence is the failure to use the amount of care that a person needs in certain circumstances. Both of these claims affect doctors for the simple fact that a doctor’s main job is to care for people. There are tons of different hospitals that a lawyer can for. Some will work for children hospitals and others will go into cancer based hospitals. Cooper University of Health Care is one hospital that sticks out in particular. Cooper is very well-rounded and is known for its diverse areas of medicine (Board,2015). Cooper is very well known for its cancer department which is ran by Christine C. Winn (Board, 2015). Cooper Hospital is located in Camden, New Jersey and contains several departments aimed at helping all types of patients
