My summer break was pretty amazing. I went to my cousin's house a lot of times. I'm practically at her house all the time since our mothers are sisters. I also went to my best friend's house a couple a times. I am a Muslim so, I read the Qur'an every day. I also went to the mosque every Friday morning for Jummah prayer (this is a prayer that is only done on Friday). I also fasted for 17 hours a day. This 17 hour routine went on for 30 days. I would get up at 4:00 A.M. and break my fast at 9:00 P.M. I always broke my fast at the mosque because in my religion you would get a reward for breaking the fast at our holy place. I enjoyed breaking my fast because my friends and I fasted together. This is what I did during the beginning of my summer. …show more content…
I would wake up at 9:00 in the morning. Next, at 9:05, I would make my bed. Then, I would brush my teeth and do Wudu (is a ritual that washing is to be performed for preparation of prayer.) Finally, I would pray. This was my routine and then, I could do anything I wanted to do. So, I usually was on my phone, but I took time out to help my mum cook. I also took time to clean my room. I also went to a lot of different places. I went to Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, and Illinois. Michigan was amazing. I got to see my cousin, who I haven't seen in 3 years.
