My summer break was pretty amazing. I went to my cousin's house a lot of times. I'm practically at her house all the time since our mothers are sisters. I also went to my best friend's house a couple a times. I am a Muslim so, I read the Qur'an every day. I also went to the mosque every Friday morning for Jummah prayer (this is a prayer that is only done on Friday). I also fasted for 17 hours a day. This 17 hour routine went on for 30 days. I would get up at 4:00 A.M. and break my fast at 9:00 P.M. I always broke my fast at the mosque because in my religion you would get a reward for breaking the fast at our holy place. I would wake up at 9:00 in the morning. Next, at 9:05, I would make my bed. Then, I would brush my teeth and do Wudu (is a ritual that washing is to be performed for preparation of prayer.) Finally, I would pray. This was my routine and then, I could do anything I wanted to do. So, I usually was on my phone, but I took time out to help my mum cook. I also took time to clean my room. I also went to a lot of different places. I went to Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, and Illinois. Michigan was amazing. I got to see my cousin, who I haven't seen in 3 years. Ohio was fun because I had a basketball competition and my friends were there with me. This basketball competition is with my Sunday School. Kentucky was nice. My dad got to see his friend again ad that made me happy. I have to say that Illinois was the best because I saw my uncle from Germany.
