Super Bowl City, unfortunately, seems to have other problems in its hands, other than predicting which football team will win the tournament. San Fran is the home to hundreds - and maybe even thousands - to destitute people who can barely manage to find a place to stay overnight. Their options are limited, and benches and bus stops may be poor places to sleep for people living in houses and apartments, but the homeless are grateful for them. Since the upcoming of the famous Super Bowl football tournament, the displaced have been taken out of the more popular locations of the city and relocated into less famous areas. “The police told us that after the Super Bowl, y’all can come back,” Aaron, a homeless man, told a reporter, which was later incorporated into the article “San Francisco Clears Out Homeless Ahead of the Super Bowl, ” written by Bryce Covert. What Aaron is saying is very concerning, as it seems that the beloved city is putting on a fake, pretty facade for tourists and Super Bowl fans to praise. San Fran seems to see the dispossessed as dirty as trash, meant to be swept away where they belonged.
